Waste Ink Counter Reset for Canon MP190
- Turn on the printer then press Menu-Copy-Scan-Copy-Copy to enter enter into SERVICE MODE.
- After enter into service mode, Select TEST MODE.
- Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
- Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
- Select 0. [INK COUNT] to reset the ink counter in the printer.
- Press the [Set] key.
- Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3), and then press the [ON/OFF] key

Hola tengo elproblema para resetear el residuo de tinta dela canon pixma mp190, ya le limpie toda la parte de absorcion de residuos de tinta la arme nuevamente y me sigue saliendo el codigo de error E2.7, por favor si me pueden ayudar con eso , les quedaria muy agradecido…

just long press stop/reset botton to allow printer to print at ink out mode.

Reset Waste Ink
1) Enter SERVICE MODE.
By pressing Menu, Copy, Scan, Copy, Copy
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [Set] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.this is the real ressetter for mp198
you need to be in service mode to use it
this also applies to newer model canon printer
try this.. it worked on my MP198
1. Start with printer OFF
2. Hold down STOP/RESET and then hold down POWER
3. Release STOP/RESET (don’t let go of the power just yet)
4. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.try this.. it worked on my MP198
