For about 4 or 5 days Plex Media Server for Mac has failed to download metadata (e.g., posters, episode names and descriptions, etc).

I've tried various various fixes recommended in the forums, but nothing has worked from me.

These are things I've tried:

  • Restarted everything (PMS, Mac, NAS, Router) and forced refresh
  • Deleted System.bundle and Framework.bundle (in ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/) and forced refresh
  • Deleted TV Shows metadata folder (in Plex Media Server/Metadata/) and forced refresh
  • Did all of the above, but instead of doing a forced refresh, I waited for Plex to do an automatic scan

I've been happily using Plex for about a year and haven't had any significant issues until now. I realise that this issue has been posted elsewhere, but, as noted above, none of the fixes I've come across in the forums have worked for me.
